i don't get how fanpol haven't realized they're basically placing more importance on the "desires/safety" of a fictional character over the desires/safety of a real person. fanpol are waaaaay too attached to fictional characters and can't admit that they have a problem when they're willing to harass or harm real people over it. people depicting fictional characters being harmed or abused hurts nobody, fictional characters aren't reeeeel.

and to the ones who are like "well a real person could come across that content and be harmed by seeing it!" dude, that's life. nearly everybody will come across content that disturbs them in some way, for various reasons. everyone is different, get over it. and someone being "harmed" just from seeing content they don't like isn't the same as someone being directly harassed by ppl. being entitled and demanding ppl (including ppl who don't even KNOW you lmao??) to stop making some content cuz you don't like it is stupid as hell. how is what you want any more important than what the creator of that content wants? seriously, go find something better to do than bother random ppl
