omggg why do i keep running into accounts that are all "dni if you don't have your age in bio". for the love of god STOP ASKING/GIVING PERSONAL INFO OUT LIKE THAT PUBLICALLY. DO PPL NOT CARE ABOUT ANONYMITY + PRIVACY ANYMORE. that kind of stuff just makes it EASIER to get yourself doxxed. like, if you piss the wrong person off, and they want to get back at you by publishing your irl identity/address/whatever, you listing your exact age out in the open just makes it easier for them in their quest to figure out who you really are...do ppl not realize this D: i mean if ppl feel comfortable enough to list their exact age cuz they see it as similar as listing their hair color, whatever. but to expect others to have their age in bio before following/interacting is just...yeesh. eh, dnis in general are pretty lame. oh and some ppl try to hide from stalkers they know irl from tracking them down too, nobody is obligated to list out personal info like that on social media of all places, god.

i get that ppl with this kind of dni list are trying to filter out minors most of the time, but why can't they just be like "dni if you're under 18" instead of wanting to know an exact age?? they starting to sound like google and twitter, demanding users to give their phone numbers and location and crap

*****EDIT: ALSO, i HATE how popular google docs is on twitter, and how i frequently see "everyone plz look at this callout inside this google doc". i am not clicking that link to have my google account on display in the corner for prying eyes to see. sheesh, everyone on the internet is too trusting with random strangers when it comes to their privacy...
